    Full day in Sohra: Mawkdok Dympep valley viewpoint, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and the Eco Park. Return to Shillong.

  3. Day 3

    Shillong sightseeing

    Elephant Falls, Don Bosco Museum, Ward's Lake and the Laitlum Canyons for sunset. Shillong Peak if open to visitors that day.

  4. Day 4

    Shillong → Guwahati

    Drop at Guwahati Airport or railway station, timed to your flight or train. Kamakhya Temple on the way if time allows.

  1. Day 1

    Guwahati → Bomdila / Dirang

    Early start from Guwahati, entering Arunachal at Bhalukpong (Inner Line Permit check). Overnight at Bomdila or Dirang.

  2. Day 2

    Dirang → Tawang

    Climb to Sela Pass and Sela Lake, stop at the Jaswant Garh war memorial, then on to Tawang.

  3. Day 3

    Tawang sightseeing

    Tawang Monastery, the Tawang War Memorial, Urgelling Monastery and the local market.

  4. Day 4

    Bum La & Madhuri Lake

    Excursion to Bum La and Madhuri (Sangetsar) Lake. Needs extra permits and depends on weather and army clearance.

  5. Day 5

    Tawang → Dirang

    Drive back over Sela. Afternoon in the Dirang valley: hot springs, monastery and apple orchards in season.

  6. Day 6

    Dirang → Bhalukpong / Tezpur

    Descend through Bomdila to the plains, overnight near Bhalukpong or Tezpur.

  7. Day 7

    Return to Guwahati

    Drive to Guwahati for your onward flight or train.
